Consultation on SP Energy Networks Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) 2023 publication

The energy landscape is changing fast as the way our customers and communities generate, consume, and interact with energy evolves. Our role is to plan our distribution network to facilitate our stakeholder’s decarbonisation objectives and choices, helping to enable their journey to net zero.

To achieve this, we need to forecast and understand our customers’ changing electricity requirements, and we publish Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) to do this, which are forecasts for a range of customer demand and generation metrics up until 2050.

We are planning to publish our 2023 Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) in the next couple of months, and we are seeking consultation from our key local stakeholders to ensure all future electricity network requirements are included.

Our team are looking forward to sharing and discussing the latest SP Energy Networks Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) at a series of workshops to help us gather evidence and feedback which will contribute to our 2023 Distribution Future Energy Scenarios (DFES) publication and help to facilitate your future energy requirements on your journey to net zero.
