SP Energy Networks presentation on Tree Maintenance to Scottish Borders Council

The presentation was followed by a conversation with councillors about how SP Energy Networks surveys powerlines with the use of different tools, including helicopters. It was emphasised that having a contact telephone number to report vegetation near powerlines was important, which SP Energy Networks followed up with sharing a briefing document that included contact details. There was also a brief conversation about planting the right species of trees near the networks.
